Mike Roan is an Associate Professor at Virginia Tech. He has over 15 years experience as a research engineer in the field of acoustics and vibration with specific emphasis on Underwater Acoustics and signal processing. He received his PhD in 1999 from Pennsylvania State University. He moved to Virginia Tech in 2005 as an Associate Professor. As PI or Co-PI, Prof. Roan has attracted $4M in research funding.
